Amber Agriculture

Lucas is the CoFounder of Amber Agriculture.  Growing up on a grain farm in Central Illinois he majored in Ag Economics and continued into MBA studies at the University of Illinois. During undergrad, Lucas served as the Council President of the College of ACES (Agriculture) and represented the campus of 44,000 as the Student Trustee on the University of Illinois Board of Trustees. Experiences across the agriculture value chain including seed production with Monsanto, credit and crop insurance with Farm Credit, and agribusiness strategy consulting with Adayana Agribusiness Group, led Lucas into early stage enterprise development in agriculture.

As CoFounder of Amber, Lucas was the recipient of the Illinois Innovation Prize given each year to the most innovative student at the University of Illinois, named Poets and Quants Best MBAs in the Class of 2017, and won Best Startup at the world’s largest technology show- CES in Las Vegas by Engadget.
